في شهر أكتوبر من هذا العام 2012، أتيحت لي الفرصة لرؤية حصان في اسطبلات رولاندو سانديا في مدينة شيجوارا
بولاية ميريدا، ووجدت عند إجراء الفحص البدني ما يلي
: درجة الحرارة عند 42 درجة مئوية ، وزيادة معدل ضربات القلب ومعدل التنفس ، صلابة وتشنج في العضلات ،
انزعاج شديد للضوضاء ، رهاب الضوء ، الضغط بقوة على الأسنان ، بروز الجفن الثالث عند قيام اختبار الضغط
بواسطة السبابة على الجبهة.
عند رؤية كل هذا، شعرت بالقلق الشديد، لأنه حصان ذو قيمة وراثية عالية، بالإضافة إلى قيمته الاقتصادية؛ قمت
باستدعاء الدكتور كارلوس فيديريكو رودريغيز جارانتون، واستشارته، لأنني كنت قلقة جدا وخائف جزئيا من هذه الحالة.
فكان تشخيصى هو مرض الكزاز (التيتانوس) بواسطة بكتريا الكوليسترديا تيتاناى اللاهوائية.
تحدث علامات الكزاز أو التيتانوس بواسطة نوعين من السموم، والتي تنتج من البكتيريا اللاهوائية المتطفلة، كلوستريديوم
تتاني. تعيش البكتيريا في التربة، وخاصة في تلك الغنية بالمواد العضوية. هذه الكائنات الحية الدقيقة تشكل حوصلات
للبقاء في البيئة. وهي موجودة طبيعيا في الجهاز الهضمي والبراز لكثير من الحيوانات مثل، الخيول، الأبقار، الأغنام،
الكلاب، والفئران والدجاج والإنسان. من الممكن أن تلوث الجلد والملابس والأدوات والفرش وما إلى ذلك.
من السهل جدًا على هذه البكتريا أن تخترق الخيل من خلال جرح عميق وضيق ومتعرج وملوث. قد يحدث الكزاز من
بضعة أيام إلى عدة أسابيع (عادة هو 1-3 أسابيع) بعد وجود الجرح الناجم عن آلة حادة مثل طلاء الأظافر، سلك، شريحة
أو السرنجات الملوثة أو المسامير.
وتحدث الوفاة عادة بعد 5-7 أيام، والناجمة عن الاختناق بسبب الشلل التشنجي في العضلات بين الضلوع والحجاب
الحاجز، وعن طريق تشنج الحنجرة أو الالتهاب الرئوي التنفسي المهم أن نتذكر أن الحصان الذي نجى من التيتانوس يبقى
غير محصن ضده ويمكن إصابته مرة أخرى.

تيبس العضلات في حصان مصاب بالتيتانوس زيلازين ثم ذهبت لأحضر الأدوية المناسبة وعدت مرة أخرى بعد ساعتين
. بعد ساعتين كان لديه بالفعل 45000وحدة دولية مصل التيتانوس، عدة مربعات من المصل والمضاد الحيوي بروكين
البنسلين، أوكسي تترا سيكلين، والليمون.
بدأت العلاج على الفور، تم حقن المحاليل الوريدية. 45000 وحدة دولية من المصل المضاد للكزاز تم حقنها،
16 مليون وحدة دولية من بروكايين البنسلين وحقن الأوكسي تترا سيكلين؛ بعد ساعتين حقنت 20 مل من عصير الليمون
المصفى في الوريد ببطيء شديد مع استمرارنا في العلاج بالسوائل وعندما بدأ سريان هذه الأدوية، شهدنا تطوراً إيجابياً
في الحالة.
في اليوم التالي في الساعة 8:00 صباحا، تم وضع 8 ملايين وحدة دولية من البنسلين، والذي تمت الإشارة إليه كل 12
ساعة، 19500 وحدة دولية من مصل التيتانوس، المزيد من السوائل و3 مل من الزيلازين. كان يوم الأحد كان من
الصعب العثور على مزيد من مضادات السموم، ولكن كان يوم الاثنين كنا قادرين على وضع 50 زجاجة، بالإضافة الى
باقي الأدوية و20 مل من الليمون.
يوم الثلاثاء وجدنا 50 أمبولة من المصل المضاد للسموم التي تحدثها بكتريا الكلوسترديا أيضا أثناء استخدام البنسلين كل
12 ساعة، بدأ أيضا علاج جديد يعمل على ارتخاء العضلات، وفيتامينات B، وتوكوسيلنيوم وبيكربونات الصوديوم وذلك
لمساعدته على استرخاء عضلاته وخفض التمثيل الغذائي الحماضى الناتج عن حمض الاكتيتك الذي نشأ من تقلص
العضلات جنبا إلى جنب مع السوائل الذي كان دائما ثابته كل 12 ساعة كما أعطينا 3 مل من الزيلازين.

(إعطاء العلاجات والسوائل الوريدية) يوم وتم تطبيق العلاج لمدة 10 أيام ، جميع الأعراض التي ظهرت
في اليوم الأول كانت تختفي ، بعد 15 يومًا عندما كان الحصان مرتاحًا تمامًا وانتهت أعراض التيتانوس ، ورجع إلى
الاسطبلات ولكن لاحظت أنه مرة أخرى أصيب بصلابة العضلات ، كان يمشى ولكن مع الكثير من الصعوبة وقضى
الكثير من اليوم في مكانه، والفرحة التي كانت موجودة بعد تطور الحيوان تركت وجهي وسألت الله أن ينيرني ويهدي لي
أن أشفي مرة أخرى الحصان أوليو
شرعت في إجراء تقييم جسدي كامل جديد ولاحظت أن جميع الأعراض التي تم العثور عليها سابقا من قبل الكزاز لم تكن
موجودة ، لم يكن لديه سوى صعوبة في المشي ، وتصلب في العضلات مع زيادة النبض الوريدي في أطرافه الأربعة ،
وشكرت الله و أرتحت قليلا ، لأنه إذا تم إنقاذه من مرض الكزاز ، فإن التهاب الصفائح في أطرافه الأربعة سهل السيطرة
عليه وأيضاً بفضل الدكتور كارلوس فيديريكو رودريغيز ، الذي يرشدني باستمرار وعلمني الكثير عن طب الأقدام ،
أستطيع حل ذلك بدون أي إزعاج.
بعد 10 أيام من التحسن من المرض
بمساعدة صديقي العزيز يودورو جيل ، حيث يعمل مدرب مدرسة الفرسان ، ومسؤول عن الاسطبلات حيث توجد
الحصان أوليو OLEO ومساعديه جليندو وتيكو وتوتو وجاتو ،شرعت في تنفيذ العلاج م والتغيير الفوري ، سارت
الامور بشكل طبيعي تقريباً ولكنها لم تستمر إلا قليلاً جداً لأنها كانت خطوة خيول رائعة ، كولومبية ، مزاجية للغاية
لقد كان الأمر لتحقيق العلاج صعب للغاية، لذلك اتخذت قرار لأداء عمل الحدوة العلاجية وسجلنا فيديو لصعوبة مشى
الحصان.
تركيب الحدوة للحصان
كانت عملية التعامل مع هذا الحيوان صعبة للغاية، من جهة الألم الذي شعر به في جميع الحوافر ومن ناحية
أخرى الشخصية التي لا تفضله على الإطلاق، لذلك اضطر إيودورو لاستخدام تجربته في العمل مع هذه
الحيوانات وبعد وضع الحامل، ربط العصا مع الساعد في يديه، ثم ربط كل ساق، الخ.
تمكنا من تلبيس الأحذية، وتم وضع حدوات الخيل التي استخدمناها رأسًا على عقب في كل عضو مع دعمه
الكافي لعظمة الأصبع الثالثة مع تركيب نعل جلدي وسليكون لكل حدوة من أجل تخفيف ألم الحصان وتنشيط
دوران الدم داخل الحدوة وتجنب أن يتحرك عظمة الأصبع الثالثة من موقعها.
بعد 4 ساعات، كان من الممكن الانتهاء من وضع الأحذية وتسجيل فيديو جديد، حيث يمكنك ملاحظة التغيير
الكبير الذي قدمته كبايوسالود.

The signs of tetanus are caused by two exotoxins, which are produced by an obligate
anaerobic bacterium, Clostridium tetani. The bacteria live in the soil, especially in those rich
in organic matter. This microorganism forms spores to remain and survive in the
environment. It is a normal inhabitant in the gastrointestinal tract and the feces of many
animal species such as equine, bovine, ovine, canine, rats, chickens and man. It is possible
that spores contaminate the bed, the skin, the clothes, instruments, brushes etc.
It is very easy for the spores of Clostridium tetani to penetrate the horse's organism through
a deep, narrow, sinuous and contaminated wound. Tetanus can occur from a few days to
several weeks (usually one to three weeks) after the presence of a wound caused by a sharp-
pointed object such as a pinned nail, a wire, a splinter or the application of injectable
medications. With a dirty or contaminated needle.
Death usually occurs 5 to 7 days later and is caused by suffocation due to spastic paralysis of
the intercostal muscles and the diaphragm, also with laryngospasm and aspiration
pneumonia. It is important to remember that the horse that survives tetanus is NOT immune
to the disease.

At the moment that I have the diagnosis of the horse, I realize that I did not have the
necessary medications to help the horse, so I placed 3cc of Anased to leave him
relaxed while he located the medications he needed; After 2 hours he already had
45000 I,U. of TETANIC ANTITOXINE, several boxes of serum, Procaine Penicillin,
Oxytetracycline, and lemon.
Immediately fluid therapy was started, administered intravenously 45000 I.U. of
tetanus antitoxin, 16 million I.U of Procaine Penicillin and in one of the 100cc serums
of Oxytetracycline; after 2 hours I put in another serum 20cc of pure lemon.
As we continued with the fluid therapy and when these drugs took effect, we saw a
positive evolution in the sample.
The next day at 8:00 am, he was placing 8 million I.U. of Penicillin, which was
indicated every 12 hours, 19500 I.U of Tetanus Antitoxin, more fluids and 3cc of
Xylacin; As it was Sunday, it was difficult to find more antitoxins, but on Monday it
was possible to locate 50 bottles, which were all placed, and in the sera again 20cc of
lemon was placed.
On Tuesday, 50 more Tetánic antitoxins were found and he was also administered
without stopping to use Penicillin every 12 hours. He was also started a new treatment
with a muscle relaxant, B complex, Tocoselenium and sodium bicarbonate in order to
help him relax your muscles and lower the metabolic acidosis product of lactic acid
that originates with muscle contraction, along with fluid therapy that was always
constant every 12 hours as well as its 3cc of Anased.

With the help of God this animal evolved positively every day and the treatment was applied
for 10 days, all the symptoms that presented the first day were disappearing, after 15 days when the horse was already fully relieved and finished leaving his tetanus picture, came to
the stables and reviewing it noticed that again with muscular rigidity, walked but with much
difficulty and spent much of the day lying in his post, the joy I had for the evolution of the
animal left my face and I asked God to enlighten me and guide me to heal again Óleo (name
of the horse).
I proceeded to make a new complete physical assessment and I noticed that all the
symptoms previously found by tetanus, I did not have them, I only had difficulty walking,
muscle stiffness and venous pulse in its 4 limbs, I thanked God and I relax a bit, because if he
was saved from tetanus, and the laminitis he had in his 4 limbs was easier to control and also
thanks to Dr. Carlos Federico Rodríguez, who constantly guides me and has taught me a lot
about Podiatry, I could solve that case without any inconvenience.
After 10 days of improvement
With the help of my great friend EUDORO GIL, who is the coach of the school of riders and
Amazonas de Chiguará, and is in charge of the stables where OLEO and his assistants
(Glindo, Tico, Tuto and Gato) are located, I proceeded to perform the therapy with the
animes and the change was immediate, I walked almost normal but they lasted very little

1- Curso Atención del Cólico equino sin recursos de la A a la Z.
2- Cirugía abdominal a campo y sin recursos. Solo para 10 personas y deben haber realizado previamente el curso #1.
3- Imagenología.
Curso de diagnóstico de lesiones articulares, de ligamentos y tendones e infiltraciones así cómo del tracto reproductivo de la yegua y macho con el uso del ultrasonido.
4- Curso Uso de Plasma Rico en Plaquetas en el tratamiento de lesiones del aparato músculo esquelético y reproductivo.
5- Diplomado de Podología y arte de Herrar caballos de la A a la Z
5 días de lunes a viernes.
6- Curso de Forja de Herraduras.
Cada quien debe llevar sus herramientas indispensables para forjar.
7- Curso de Recolección y análisis de semen, preparación para refrigeración y transporte e Inseminación artificial en yeguas.
8- Uso y aplicación de la Autohemoterapia en equinos.
